In that time she has served on the board of the Tweed Valley Division of General Practice (now Tweed Valley GP Network) and with recent healthcare changes, has been part of the team developing the North Coast NSW Medicare Local.

Austin graduated from Birmingham University Medical School in England in 1991. He then went on to become a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and obtain a Diploma in Family Planning. Moving to Australia in 2001, Austin became a member of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and joined in partnership with Dr Jenni Soden and Dr Diane Blanckensee in Banora Point. Austin has since continued to serve the Tweed community providing quality GP care for the last 14 years.

Greg grew up in Bathurst, Central West NSW. He moved to Sydney after obtaining a scholarship from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) to study Science in Pure and Applied Chemistry. He commenced a PhD in 1995 and combined this with working in industry. After 2 years he decided to go back to study medicine and graduated from University of New South Wales (UNSW) with a MBBS in 2002.

She also holds a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Pracitioners. After completing her qualifications, Renae undertook General Practice training with North Coast GP training. Since then Renae has worked in both hospitals and general practices around Australia in both rural and urban locations. Internationally, Renae has worked with International SOS in Myanmar.

Brent graduated from the University of Otago, New Zealand, with an MBChB in 1987. After an elective posting to London he then completed general hospital rotations in Christchurch, NZ, and St George Hospital in Sydney. Following general hospital rotations Brent went on to complete his GP training and Vocational Registration in 1991.

After working in Perth for 13 years, Brent moved to the Gold Coast and has worked locally as a GP for the last 10 years. Brent’s time on the Gold Coast has lead to a special interest in Skin Cancer medicine. He also has a special interest in sports medicine as a result of mentoring by doctors involved in the NZ Commonwealth Games and Rugby Union, and a period working as a doctor in the ski fields.
