Dr Chris Broadfield was born and raised in Manchester, England, and graduated from Newcastle University (UK) in 2015. He completed his postgraduate specialty training in General Practice in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and attained Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP-UK) in 2023. Prior to relocating to Australia, he worked as a General Practitioner in both Northern Ireland and England.

Dr Broadfield holds a Professional Diploma in Clinical Leadership from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI, Dublin), as well as a postgraduate Professional Certificate from University College Dublin (UCD). He relocated to the Gold Coast in 2023, where he continues his clinical practice and values the region’s strong focus on health, wellbeing, and an active outdoor lifestyle.

His clinical interests include chronic disease management, child health, travel medicine, Implanon insertion, and Urgent Care.

Dr Broadfield has an extensive travel background, having visited over 100 countries, which informs his global health perspective and supports his interest in travel-related and preventative medicine.

Outside of clinical practice, Dr Broadfield enjoys running, weight training, Pilates, and surfing.
