Katrina graduated from La Trobe University in Melbourne in 2006 and brings a wealth of experience across both public and private sectors. She began her career working with the Department of Education and in private practice, before relocating to the Gold Coast in 2010.

Katrina has worked in a variety of settings, including a not-for-profit organisation in Brisbane, before transitioning to the hospital system as a rehabilitation speech pathologist. Since 2012, she has held senior roles within acute medical settings and has also worked in private practice since 2017.

Her clinical experience spans a broad range of specialties, including rehabilitation, intensive care, emergency care, neurology, orthopaedics, gastroenterology, geriatrics, cardiology, oncology, and general medicine. Katrina is passionate about working with adults and has expertise supporting individuals with conditions such as stroke, dementia, primary progressive aphasia, head and neck cancer, Parkinson’s Disease, Motor Neuron Disease, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, essential tremor, Myasthenia Gravis, Multiple Sclerosis, brain tumours, and Functional Neurological Disorder.

In addition to her clinical work, Katrina has represented the field of speech pathology internationally as a student delegate in Chicago and has been invited to guest lecture at a local university.
