Dr Nicci Drew is an experienced GP and sports doctor.

She enjoys all aspects of general practice with a strong focus on sports medicine, urgent care presentations and skin cancer medicine.

 Nicci grew up in South Africa and graduated with her medical degree and a masters in sports medicine from Stellenbosch and Cape Town university.

 She has since worked in the UK, New Zealand , South Africa and Australia.

 She has worked extensively in Emergency medicine in Australia and in paediatrics in the United Kingdom.

 She is bilingual in English and Afrikaans and speaks conversational Zulu.

 She has been the Chief Medical Officer for the Australian national team to the Pacific Games in the Solomon Islands, the Gold Coast Titans mens and women’s teams and a medical officer for the Gold Coast suns AFL team as well as the current team doctor for the Burleigh Bears rugby league team and the Maroons Women’s state of origin team.

 She offers post-graduate consultations on musculoskeletal concerns - at elite and recreational level and at middle to older age level . She is proficient at PRP and injection techniques for osteoarthritis and inflammatory joint conditions.

 Nicci has also dedicated a portion of her consultations to dermoscopic skin cancer checks and is experienced in skin cancer excisions .

 Nicci is a kind, honest and conscientious doctor who enjoys developing a strong working relationship with her patients.

 Outside of work Nicci has a great love for the outdoors and nature.

She enjoys mountain biking, mountaineering, ultra trail running and adventure travelling.

 She also has a keen interest in humanitarian work.
