Dr Rae Sanders is currently on Maternity leave and is expected to return to work early 2026.
Dr Rae Sanders grew up in Brisbane, and initially pursued a career in Pharmacy, studying at UQ and practicing as a pharmacist. She then advanced her medical education, graduating from Griffith University Medical School on the Gold Coast in 2014. Dr Sanders has since gained extensive experience working at Gold Coast University Hospital and various regional hospitals across Australia.
She is passionate about all aspects of general practice, with a particular focus on women’s health, pediatrics, chronic disease management, and preventive medicine including PREP prescribing.
In her free time, Dr. Sanders keeps busy with her 1-year-old and enjoys surfing, yoga, traveling, and attending live music events, making the Gold Coast the perfect place for her interests.
